Spherion

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a local client seeking Welders for their Alachua, Florida facility. This position will be assembling large and heavy parts to complete subassemblies and drilling rigs using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment. A welding exam must be passed to be considered for this role.

Position: Full Time, Temporary to Hire Location: Alachua, Florida Schedule: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday Pay Range: 19.00 - 20.00/Hour

Responsibilities: - Check specification sheet to determine required assembly instructions. - Perform MIG and TIG welding. - Check bins for adequate supplies. - Ensure connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications. - Resolve assembly problems. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Handle other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills: - Excellent troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of basic hand tools - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Education: High School

Experience: 1-4 years

Qualifications: - High school or GED - Past welding experience - Able to pass a basic welding exam
