Key Requirements: • Perform welding and cutting tasks using, Stick Flux-Cored (FCAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) processes to meet project specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, P&IDs, material lists, and engineering drawings. • Prepare joints and surfaces: bevel, fit-up, tack weld, and final welds, ensuring proper weld size, alignment, and tolerances. • Inspect welds for quality and integrity; perform basic nondestructive testing (visual inspection, basic gap/penetration checks) as required. • Select appropriate electrodes, filler metals, and process parameters based on base metals, thickness, position, and code requirements. • Maintain and calibrate welding equipment; perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues. • Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements; maintain a clean and organized work area. • Collaborate with supervisors, fitters, and inspectors to ensure on-time project completion. Shifts: • Monday-Friday Some Saturdays when busy • 0630-5:00PM
