Third Coast

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-driven Welder to join our Maintenance team at Third Coast. This role plays a critical part in supporting our operations by performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and metalwork across a variety of structures and systems.

Responsibilities

• Welding using Mig, Tig and Stick.
• Weld structures, piping, and general welding of anything.
• Plan work by interpreting blueprints.
• Determine welding position and type of metal welded.
• Select and set up welding equipment.
• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.
• Use plasma to cut and trim metal objects.
• Exhibit and practice the Third Coast Way fundamental behaviors.

Requirements

• AWS certified welder.
• Minimum 3G plate test unless specified.
• Able to follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Five years welding experience required.
• Able to read and interpret WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record).
• Knowledge of our quality policy and objectives.
