Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. The Welder role involves using specialized machinery for industrial welding, maintaining and repairing machinery, and ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper training certification (GTAW, SMAW, SAW, GTAW Aluminum, etc.)
• Read all prints issued to the welding department
• Accurately follow welding instructions to provide quality welds within approved methods
• Use and operate overhead cranes, torches, grinders, and forklifts
• Communicate clearly with other departments, Weld personnel, Supervisor, and Lead Man

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of electro machinery repair
• Must have the required tools to perform expected tasks
• Must be able to use precision measuring instruments
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• Must have 5 years or more of proven welding experience
