Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. The Welder nightshift position involves using specialized machinery for industrial welding, maintaining and repairing machinery, and ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper training certification (GTAW, SMAW, SAW, GTAW Aluminum, etc.)
• Be capable of reading all prints issued to welding department
• Accurately follow welding instructions to provide quality welds within the appropriate approved methods
• Ability to use and operate overhead cranes, torches, grinders and forklifts
• Work closely and communicate clearly with the other departments, Weld personnel, Supervisor and Lead Man

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of turbo machinery repair
• Must have the required tools to perform their expected tasks
• Must be able to use precision measuring instruments
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• Must have 5 years or more of proven welding experience
