Overview

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Certified Welder to join their safety-conscious team in La Porte, TX. The role involves maintenance and repair of certified welding for specialized assets and company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld materials together using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
• Perform basic fitting tasks.
• Understand raw materials and MTR’s and electrode classifications.
• Execute gouging processes including air carbon arc, plasma arc, and oxy-fuel.
• Utilize cutting processes with mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, and electric arc.
• Clean and check for defects in component parts.
• Conduct quality control.
• Follow directions from drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus specialized training or 1 year of college.
• 5 to 7 years of welding experience.
• Fabrication skills including cutting and grinding.
• GMAW certification required.
• SMAW certification required.
• FCAW certification required.
• GTAW certification required.
