Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance mechanic assignments on plant equipment and facilities.
• Collect data for preventative and predictive plant maintenance projects.
• Perform millwright assignments such as bearing replacement and alignment of equipment.
• Perform welding and cutting assignments for fabrication and repair of plant equipment.
• Inspect lubrication for mechanical equipment and change oil and filters.
• Perform pipefitter assignments to install and maintain piping structures.
• Operate mobile equipment to assist with maintenance duties.
• Perform plumbing inspection and repair on plant equipment and facilities.
• Adhere to CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior mechanical experience/welding experience, training or certification required.
• Prior plant maintenance mechanic experience a plus.
• Bi-lingual (a plus).
