Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed material take-offs and create isometric and schematic sketches based on blueprints and specifications.
  • Engage in comprehensive job planning for work packages and oversee construction/manufacturing schedules.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to craft workers in the piping trade.
  • Schedule and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers and verify staff certifications.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work for conformance to specifications.
  • Eliminate construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations.
  • Coordinate placement and storage of materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Verify that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
  • Work with tools as required to meet construction schedules.
  • Identify conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
  • Technical training or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
