Responsabilities

Setup new production test areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc. Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles TIG welding according to engineering models, drawings, specifications and written procedures Brazing according to ASME IX III Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customer delivery Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, TIG welding machine, brazing setup, gas tanks, lines, regulators, digital and mechanical gauges, instruments etc. Diagnose non-functional welded assemblies independently Calibrate and test DPU assemblies per engineering procedure independently Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean initiatives Learn quickly from mistakes, absorb knowledge from mentors, take ownership, cross-train others and deliver results Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED D17.1 and D14.1 certifications Experience with mechanical assembly and gauge calibration 3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures Basic mathematics skills Hand dexterity required to assemble small mechanical or electrical components Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small restricted areas Ability to lift heavy items up to 44 lbs. if needed Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired

Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field Experienced in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Schedule

05:00 – 13:30 with overtime and weekend hours as needed
