Overview

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join their team in Cudahy, CA. This role involves the overall maintenance of industrial and specialty gas cylinders in a plant environment, offering a great opportunity to start a career at a leading global industrial gases company.

Responsibilities

• Repair leaks, inspect, and dispose of defective cylinders, and paint cylinders.
• Test, repair, and convert cylinders while focusing on continuous improvement.
• Operate a forklift to move products throughout the facility.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks.
• Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers.
• Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and contributing to a strong safety culture.
