Overview

Lime is a global leader in micromobility, aiming to create a shared, affordable, and carbon-free transportation future. They are seeking In-Field Mechanics to maintain their fleet of shared vehicles, ideal for mechanically-inclined operations professionals looking to expand their career experiences.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational compliance of fleet and complete quality checks for deployment
• Perform basic maintenance in and out of warehouse
• Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles
• Support battery management operations by ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks are completed
• Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
• Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
• Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart on a frequent basis
• Identify issues and perform small repairs in the field on vehicles including brake adjustments, tire inflation, and vehicle cleaning
• Manage parts inventories including PAR levels and demand forecast
• Monitor designated zones by conducting on-foot patrols of the local area for vehicle parking compliance
• Detect and report uncommon situations related to on the ground service and product
• Occasionally assist customers in the field by providing support related to Lime vehicles
• Safely operate a van to assist with the deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles
• Safely operate a bike, cargo bike, or e-scooter for vehicle deployment and retrieval
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and good driving record
• Previous experience in a similar role involving vehicle maintenance preferred
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis required
• Knowledge of cell phone applications; iOS experience preferred
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart
• Strong problem-solving skills for quick and efficient repairs
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks
• A safety-oriented mindset for conducting rigorous quality checks
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members
• Adaptability to work outdoors and indoors as needed
• Ability to safely ride a bike and other Lime vehicles

• Compensation and benefits, if any, are determined and provided solely by the employer of record.
• Candidates must sign a waiver acknowledging the Dash Cam in Lime’s vehicle.
