Description
Are you a hands-on engineer who loves seeing your CAD designs turn into massive, functional machinery?
Cozzini, LLC is looking for a Design Engineer to spearhead the development of our food processing equipment. This isn't a "sit at a desk all day" job—you will be the bridge between engineering, the shop floor, and our customers, ensuring our equipment is practical to build, highly efficient, and tailored to customer needs.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
Bring Concepts to Life: Utilize CAD software to design robust machinery, calculating everything from complex layouts to precise tolerances and clearances. Support the Shop Floor: Walk the production floor to support our fabrication and assembly teams, measuring components and solving real-time manufacturing challenges. Own Your Projects: Coordinate design reviews, manage schedules, monitor project budgets, and keep documentation organized from kickoff to final delivery. Collaborate and Connect: Work directly with vendors and customers to refine specifications, approving design modifications and traveling to sites when necessary to ensure smooth installation.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in machine design and strong CAD drafting capabilities. An analytical mind capable of diving deep into tolerances, arrangement, and technical data. A collaborative spirit who communicates just as effectively with a welder on the floor as they do with a corporate customer.
