Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading lift truck manufacturer, is seeking knowledgeable customer-focused technicians to join their team in Oakland, NJ. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing lift trucks while maintaining a service van and its inventory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree and previous lift truck repair experience preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools and testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals.

Additional Information

• Full-time position with primarily 1st shift.
• Company vehicle provided for field service technicians.
• 40 hours per week plus overtime.
