Overview

Komatsu is seeking experienced heavy industrial welders/fabricators to support the fabrication and repair of large mining components, including dippers (buckets). This hands-on position requires precision, quality, and adherence to OEM specifications in a high-standard mechanical environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to always perform required duties safely
• Able to work overtime (70 hrs. a week) including weekends
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Prep materials and components for fabrication and welding
• Fabricate and weld large mining components, including repairs of dippers/buckets
• Weld a 332 wire
• Occasionally travel to mine sites to support field work (approximately 25% of the time)
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

Requirements

• MSHA Certification a Plus
• Clean background check
• Able to pass respirator fit test
• Able to pass 3G and 4G weld test

Additional Information

• The hours for this position vary, currently 12 hour days Monday to Friday, and 10 hours on Saturday.
