Overview

Fenagh Engineering and Testing is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform inspections for the shop and field, including audits, inspecting structural steel fabrication and erection, material identification, and high-strength bolting inspections. The ideal candidate will hold an AWS CWI certification and have experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation and inspection in the shop and field.
• Collect MTRs for heat numbers and tracking.
• Conduct high strength bolting inspections and tests.
• Compile daily reports outlining inspections and reporting deficiencies.
• Read and understand specific project plans and specifications.
• Communicate with the project team regarding project requirements and inspection results.

Requirements

• AWS CWI Certification
• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector (S1) certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• General computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PDF)
