Overview

H&G Systems is a respected mechanical contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, known for quality craftsmanship and technical precision since 1968. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Welding Superintendent to lead field welding operations on commercial and industrial projects throughout North Texas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support welding crews on commercial and industrial projects.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Coordinate daily field operations and mentor welders.
• Review weld quality and interpret blueprints and weld maps.
• Support manpower planning and resolve field issues.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain productivity and project timelines.
• Serve as the primary field welding leader.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of welding experience.
• At least 5+ years in a foreman, superintendent, or leadership role.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial pipe welding experience.
• Required 6G certification.
• Advanced stick (ARC) and MIG welding expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld maps, and specifications.
• Strong weld quality control and field oversight capabilities.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating manpower.
• Safety-first leadership approach.
• Equipment operation and jobsite coordination experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
