Overview

XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is hiring a skilled MIG Welder in Irving, TX. The role involves supporting the production of fire protection products through MIG welding, custom pipe fabrication, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks according to blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with custom pipe fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain workflow and product integrity.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and safe material handling.
• Handle materials weighing 50–75 lbs; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Perform repetitive motions and work in hot, cold, or noisy environments.

Requirements

• Must bring personal welding hood and equipment.
• MIG welding experience required; must pass welding test.
• Ability to work overtime (1–2 hours/day) and occasional weekends.
• Resume and interview required.
• Strong attention to detail and able to handle production paperwork.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, or platforms as needed.
• Visual and auditory ability to work safely in production.
• Commitment to attendance, punctuality, and teamwork.

• Location: Irving, TX 75038
• Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM; 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (or until finish).
• Overtime: Required (1–2 hours daily); Saturday availability is mandatory.
