Overview

ACV is a technology company revolutionizing how dealers buy and sell cars online, emphasizing a people-first mindset and a culture of growth. They are seeking a Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicle performance issues while ensuring safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.
• Perform test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Complete preventative maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and fluid replacements.
• Repair damage to vehicle bodies and wash and paint exteriors.
• Generate timelines and estimates for repairs and discuss options with clients.
• Inspect internal systems and controls for compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain accurate records related to clients, vehicles, parts, and service history.
• Use shop equipment as instructed and perform regular maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of auto technician experience.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.
• Excellent active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively and work as a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to keep work documents and conversations confidential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
