Overview

The Fleet Mechanic II position at Keurig Dr Pepper in Irving, TX involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and equipment. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and technical aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks, trailers, vans, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, and electrical systems.
• Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
• Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
• Act as a mentor to class I mechanics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
• Between 2 to 3 years of mechanic experience on a fleet.
• Must be able to work on all types of vehicles.
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• CDL A preferred.
• Must have forklift operation experience.

Additional Information

• Monday - Friday, 2:00PM to 10:30PM or when the work is complete.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
