Overview
As a Microelectronics Assembler at Honeywell Lansdale, you will be part of a high-tech team crafting components for aerospace and defense systems. The role requires focus, finesse, and a commitment to excellence in assembling and inspecting electronic components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, rework, and repair electrical components and subassemblies using schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
- Ensure every build meets exacting standards and perform rework as needed to guarantee quality.
- Verify producibility during initial assembly to ensure smooth production flow.
- Perform tasks from lower-level assembler roles and cross-train across other assembly positions.
- Execute manual die-attach using epoxy and solder under a microscope.
- Take on additional duties as needed to meet production goals.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience working as an electronic assembler.
- 1 year of experience in wire bonding - thermosonic, thermocompression, and ball bonding.
- Able to interpret and work with print and parts list, process sheets, and technical drawings.
- Able to use hand tools and measurement tools such as scales and calipers.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export control laws.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
