Overview

As a Microelectronics Assembler at Honeywell Lansdale, you will be part of a high-tech team crafting components for aerospace and defense systems. The role requires focus, finesse, and a commitment to excellence in assembling and inspecting electronic components.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, modify, rework, and repair electrical components and subassemblies using schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Ensure every build meets exacting standards and perform rework as needed to guarantee quality.
  • Verify producibility during initial assembly to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Perform tasks from lower-level assembler roles and cross-train across other assembly positions.
  • Execute manual die-attach using epoxy and solder under a microscope.
  • Take on additional duties as needed to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience working as an electronic assembler.
  • 1 year of experience in wire bonding - thermosonic, thermocompression, and ball bonding.
  • Able to interpret and work with print and parts list, process sheets, and technical drawings.
  • Able to use hand tools and measurement tools such as scales and calipers.
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export control laws.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
