Overview

Buckeye is a leading infrastructure and logistics provider for the energy sector, focusing on midstream logistic solutions for liquid petroleum products. The company is seeking an Apprentice Pipeliner Tri-State to assist in maintaining and repairing pipeline and terminal facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the company’s damage prevention program including One Calls and Right of Way investigations.
  • Learn environmental regulations, safety directives, and operating procedures for compliance.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and respond to their inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all work performed.
  • Attend 24-hour new employee hazwhopper training for emergency response.
  • Learn Cathodic Protection theory and inspect Cathodic Protection systems.
  • Obtain a full working knowledge of pipeline operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related experience in terminal, pipeline, or plant operations required.
  • General knowledge or experience in the petroleum industry is required.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent analytical skills are necessary.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and a strong commitment to safety.

Additional Information

  • Up to 15% travel required.
  • This position may require exposure to hazardous environments.
