Overview
Buckeye is a leading infrastructure and logistics provider for the energy sector, focusing on midstream logistic solutions for liquid petroleum products. The company is seeking an Apprentice Pipeliner Tri-State to assist in maintaining and repairing pipeline and terminal facilities.
Responsibilities
- Learn the company’s damage prevention program including One Calls and Right of Way investigations.
- Learn environmental regulations, safety directives, and operating procedures for compliance.
- Maintain good relationships with customers and respond to their inquiries.
- Maintain accurate documentation on all work performed.
- Attend 24-hour new employee hazwhopper training for emergency response.
- Learn Cathodic Protection theory and inspect Cathodic Protection systems.
- Obtain a full working knowledge of pipeline operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience in terminal, pipeline, or plant operations required.
- General knowledge or experience in the petroleum industry is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent analytical skills are necessary.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and a strong commitment to safety.
Additional Information
- Up to 15% travel required.
- This position may require exposure to hazardous environments.
