Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles or equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections
- Repair or replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical components
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
- Ensure repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Maintain accurate service records and document work performed
- Communicate clearly with service advisors or customers about repair needs and timelines
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred (e.g., ASE certification)
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician (minimum [X] years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic tools and systems
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and tools, and work in varying conditions
- Valid driver’s license (with a clean driving record, if applicable)
