Overview
The Maintenance Technician at PBNA is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of equipment on the packaging line and blending areas to maximize efficiency. This role requires mechanical and electrical skills to ensure optimal operation of machinery and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all parts and equipment on the packaging line and blending areas.
- Monitor packaging operations and suggest mechanical/electrical changes to increase efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the plant on various equipment.
- Calibrate level and conductivity probes using Wonderware computer software.
- Write and complete work orders in a timely manner while adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Model safe and effective practices in the workplace.
- Collaborate with Safety, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Leaders to address defects.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Mechanical skills and experience in general maintenance, burning and welding operations, and plumbing.
- Electrical skills and ability to understand relay logic and electrical schematics.
- Experience in performing electrical troubleshooting on AC and DC circuits.
- Proficient in operating shop equipment such as lathe, end mill, and welder.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership capabilities.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Additional Information
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift.
