Overview

North American Pipeline Management, Inc. (NAPM), an Azuria Water Solutions Company, is seeking an experienced Laborer to assist in the rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water lines, utilizing advanced technologies to provide cost-effective solutions for pipeline systems.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with supervisors and peers in the rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water lines.
• Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
• Drive various vehicles to haul crews and equipment to work sites.
• Assist in the initial setup and cleanup of job sites, including lifting and carrying items over 50 lbs.
• Review entry and work permits and assist in the review of pre and post installation videos.
• Enter manhole/confined space to cut line for installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A, B CDL or permit required; Hazmat or other endorsements preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water or sewer utilities.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends based on business needs.
• Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally, as work assignments dictate.
• Less than 2 preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last 36 months.
• Must pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
