Role Description

This full-time, on-site Pipe Welder position is based in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area. The Pipe Welder will be responsible for performing various welding techniques, preparing materials for fabrication, inspecting weld quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves working as part of a skilled team to fabricate and assemble pipes and metal structures in a safe and efficient manner. Adherence to safety protocols and quality requirements will be a top priority, along with the ability to ensure seamless project execution under operational deadlines.

Qualifications

Proficiency in welding techniques such as Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding Experience with materials, including knowledge of alloys, metals, and fabrication methods Skilled in general Welding and understanding of ASME and AWS standards Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints Physical ability to perform welding tasks, which may involve heavy lifting and extended periods of standing Certifications relevant to ASME, AWS, or similar standards are a plus Teamwork, time-management, and communication skills Previous experience with industrial fabrication or construction projects is preferred
