Overview

We are seeking a TIG Welder with over 5 years of experience, familiar with D17.1 weld specifications, to weld parts and assemblies of various materials. The role requires precision in welding to avoid damaging parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Weld parts and assemblies of light gauge material (.032 inches or lighter).
  • Weld light gauge material to heavy stock (.090 or thicker).
  • Perform welds close to edges (within .25 inches) where edge may be burned off.
  • Weld thick stock (.090 or thicker) where imperfections in penetration are not permissible.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of TIG welding experience.
  • Familiarity with D17.1 weld specifications.
  • Completion of required OSHA Training: Machine Guarding, Hexavalent Chromium, PPE, Lock-Out/Tag Out, Fall Prevention, Hazardous Communication.
  • Ability to bring own PPE, specifically a welding hood.
  • US Citizenship required.

Additional Information

  • 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
