Overview
The MIG/TIG Welder Level I is responsible for the fabrication and welding of aluminum and stainless steel. This position requires the ability to perform various welding tasks while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
- Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.
- Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures.
- Select torch, torch tip, filler ford, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material.
- Perform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding.
Requirements
- Ability to pass weld test.
- At least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring material.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- At least 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience in a production environment preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience using weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances.
- Forklift certification.

Additional Information
- 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Overtime as needed.
- Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
- Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
