Overview

Badia Spices is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabrication Specialist to perform stainless-steel welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs to support production equipment and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel parts and equipment
• Fabricate and modify components (guards, frames, brackets, supports)
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
• Create custom parts when replacements are unavailable
• Support equipment installations, changeovers, and emergency repairs
• Follow GMP, safety, Lockout/Tagout, and hot work procedures
• Maintain clean, organized work areas

Requirements

• High school diploma (required); technical certification (preferred)
• 3–5 years TIG welding & stainless-steel fabrication experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measurements, sketches, and basic drawings
• Experience in manufacturing or food production (preferred)
• English required; Spanish a plus
