Overview

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is a leading manufacturer of Display Cases, Specialty Products, Refrigeration Systems, and Power Systems, focusing on innovation in glass doors and intelligent merchandising technologies. The Welder III - TIG position involves joining steel parts and performing sheet metal assembly in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Join together steel parts and perform some sheet metal assembly.
• Assemble structural frames.
• Read and interpret documents, blueprints, drawings, and procedures.
• Follow engineered drawing specifications.
• Understand different steel pipe sizes.
• Use a square and other tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot minor sheet metal equipment issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be TIG certified.
• Ability to operate TIG/MIG welder.
• Basic fabrication skills.
• Understanding of 6S.
• Basic math skills and understanding of measurements.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Understanding of weld specific tools.
• Understanding of steel types and gauges.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
