Overview
The Pipe Welder will assemble, weld, install, and maintain piping systems for industrial and energy-related production systems. This role involves interpreting complex engineering drawings and performing precision pipe welding, primarily on stainless-steel piping, while ensuring compliance with ASME codes and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble piping systems and related equipment.
- Weld and install piping systems for industrial production.
- Maintain piping systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Perform precision pipe welding primarily on stainless-steel piping.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of pipe welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ASME welding procedures and B31 piping codes.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully pass a state and federal criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
