At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. The Structures Technician II role involves precision drilling and assembly on flight hardware, contributing to the production of the Terran R rocket.
Responsibilities
- Drill precision holes on flight hardware using appropriate tooling and jigs.
- Assemble hardware using structural adhesives and properly torquing fasteners.
- Perform in-process inspections using hand tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Conduct blending or deburr operations using hand or power tools.
- Uphold high standards regarding safety and shop cleanliness.
- Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of precision drilling experience, structural assembly, or integration in an aerospace field.
- Proficient in the use of common hand tools and inspection tools including mahr gauges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or other team communication tools such as Slack.

Additional Information
- This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM PT, Monday through Friday.
- The role includes a 10% shift differential added to the base pay.
- The position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime.
