Dover Food Retail (DFR) is a leading manufacturer in the refrigeration and food equipment segment, focusing on innovative glass doors and merchandising technologies. The Welder III - TIG role involves joining steel parts and performing sheet metal assembly in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Structural frame assembly
• Ability to read and interpret documents, blueprints, drawings, and procedures
• Follow engineered drawing specifications
• Understand different steel pipe sizes
• Use of square
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• TIG Certification preferred
• Experience certificate from college or technical school or six months related experience and/or training equivalent
• Ability to operate TIG welder
• Basic fabrication skills
• Understanding of 6S
• Basic math skills
• Understanding of measurements
• Basic reading/writing skills
• Understanding of weld specific tools
• Understanding of steel types and gauges
• Ability to troubleshoot minor sheet metal equipment issues
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• AWS Certification required
