Overview

C&W Services is a leader in maintenance and janitorial programs, seeking a Welding & Pipefitting Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on various systems in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on tanks, vessels, piping systems, and structural systems.
• Layout and fabricate new and replacement piping systems.
• Install valves and related piping equipment.
• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and provide feedback on service delivery.
• Read blueprints and interpret isometric diagrams.
• Weld components and assemblies using various welding equipment.
• Cut workpieces using powered saws or hand tools.
• Inspect welded surfaces for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain personal tools and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate with team members for planning and development.

Requirements

• Welding Certificate required.
• 2+ years of Industrial Pipe Fitting, Pipe Welding, and Repairs experience.
• 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance technologies preferred.
• Ability to work in elevated areas and utilize fall protection equipment.
• Must meet physical requirements of the job.

• Location: Eddyville, IA
• Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm
• Compensation: $34.16 - $40.19 per hour
