Overview

The Field Service Technician role at ISCO involves travel, hands-on work, and customer interaction, focusing on providing HDPE piping solutions. ISCO is a family-owned piping company that emphasizes team member growth and values independent work and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide HDPE piping solutions to customers via plastic pipe welding and fusion services.
• Troubleshoot simple machine issues with the help of an extensive support team.
• Apply principles of plastic welding to complex requirements.
• Communicate with customers on job sites and act as a liaison with sales personnel.
• Adhere to safety requirements while on site, training, traveling, and fabricating.
• Continually increase skills and experience through training and on-the-job instruction.
• Provide in-person training and certification to customers.
• Assist with fabrication and/or shipping needs at the local plant when field work is not available.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• This is a safety-sensitive position subject to drug and alcohol testing.
• ISCO/McElroy fusion training and testing, manufacturers’ electro-fusion certification, First Aid, and MSHA safety training certifications are offered.
• Facilitate knowledge and use of hand tools.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret technical instructions.
• Proficient with technology, including email and iPhone apps.
• High School Diploma/GED and valid driver’s license required.
