Overview

At Imagine, we help clients deliver innovative visual communications from concept to delivery. The Fabricator role involves using woodworking assembly techniques to bring creative visions to life while ensuring high-quality fabrication work.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking and foam sculpting machinery to fabricate cabinetry and foam sculptures.
• Glue, fit, and clamp parts and sub-assemblies together to form complete units.
• Sand and scrape surfaces and joints to prepare for finishing.
• Verify dimensions and product specifications for accuracy.
• Assemble and prep units for finishing with precision.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, prioritizing safety in all work.
• Ensure all required parts for assembly are present.
• Participate in product development meetings, testing and troubleshooting products.
• Meet quality control standards, ensuring all parts are fitted and aligned.
• Report and detail product malfunctions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of previous fabrication experience required.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and technology.
• Proven experience with assembly work, including woodworking and carpentry.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools preferred.
• Experienced in reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
• Comfortable operating machinery such as lathes and power saws safely.
• Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail.
• Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
