Responsibilities
- Read layouts, diagrams, project commissioning documents, and material lists.
- Conduct field surveys.
- Perform mild rigging and mill work.
- Assist other Facilities personnel with survey or engineering and construction tasks.
- Exercise judgment and make decisions on assigned projects.
- Use appropriate welding gases to produce quality welds and set up fixtures for welding assignments.
- Perform fabrication, installation, and detailed assembly work as required.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent coursework.
- 5 years of experience as an industrial technician.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.
- Experienced in Mig and Tig welding.
- Proficiency with shop math, hand tools, and some understanding of mechanical gauges.
- Demonstrated ability using a variety of hand/power tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
- Ability to troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical operations.

Additional Information
- Work hours are from 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
