Overview

RQ is actively hiring skilled Pipefitters to support our Mechanical Operations team on projects located at Kings Bay Naval Base in Georgia and surrounding areas. This position involves the installation, assembly, layout, and maintenance of piping systems on active construction sites, adhering to project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, layout, and maintain piping systems on construction sites.
• Perform work in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four years of journeyman-level pipefitting experience or equivalent.
• Experience working on military, government, or large commercial construction projects preferred.
• Experience installing mechanical piping systems.
• Background in underground deep piping installation work.
• Knowledge of equipment startup and commissioning processes involving boilers and chillers.
• Current pipefitter license or journeyman certification preferred.
• Active welding certification preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications preferred.
