Overview

Universal Technical Institute is seeking an experienced welder to become a Welding Instructor, where you will mentor and educate the next generation of welders. This role emphasizes hands-on learning and aims to inspire students to succeed in various welding careers.

Responsibilities

  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students.
  • Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on training.
  • Collaborate with the education team to enhance and develop curricula.
  • Guide and mentor students on their individual projects.
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of practical work experience in the field.
  • Technical skills in MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored welding, oxy-acetylene torch work, plasma cutting, and brazing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to teaching.

Additional Information

  • Weekends OFF
