Job Description
Overview
The Welder constructs and assembles metal components for production and facility operation, ensuring quality and accuracy in their work.
Responsibilities
- Fabricates new or replacement metal parts and components for production products.
- Assembles component parts using hand tools and small power tools.
- Conducts first-piece and in-process inspections, adjusting as necessary to meet specifications and quality standards.
- Ensures accurate machine operation.
- Assists with equipment change-overs.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
