Overview

The Machine Welder B position involves performing various welding duties under general supervision, ensuring quality welds and maintaining a safe work environment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Verify welds using magnifiers, dial calipers, pin micrometers, and tube micrometers.
• Be qualified to AWS D 17.1 and QOP-62-02.
• Achieve x-ray quality welds.
• Perform rework, repair, and other associated operations.
• Conduct welding duties.
• Operate equipment.
• Weld fittings on tubing, ducts, tanks, and similar units.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
