Overview

The Manufacturing Welder 2 position at HOLT Manufacturing involves performing moderate manufacturing weld fabrications of various products and components. The role requires proficiency in welding procedures, adherence to guidelines, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet customer needs and departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Model and promote HOLT’s Values Based Leadership tools and processes.
• Adhere to guidelines in setting up and welding subassemblies and full products.
• Assist in developing new fabrication weldment procedures using drawings and blueprints.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding processes.
• Complete work orders and fabrication on products and components.
• Ensure compliance with welding codes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform oxy/acetylene torch and plasma cutting, and various welding processes.
• Challenge self to achieve high levels of performance and quality.
• Update job knowledge through educational opportunities.
• Maintain consistency in work tasks across shifts and areas.
• Transport materials using overhead cranes and other devices.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to provide high-quality products.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and order.
• Adhere to contamination control and HAZMAT regulations.
• Communicate variances to established processes.
• Work overtime as required by workload.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
