Overview

IMMEC Inc is seeking skilled Industrial Pipe Fitters/Welders to complete complex industrial mechanical and process piping projects for various industrial clients. Candidates should possess knowledge of mathematics and mechanics, along with a strong commitment to safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Welding
• Metal fabrication
• Pipe fitting and joining
• Operation of shop equipment
• Print reading
• Fabrication and installation of process piping systems
• Fabrication and installation of mechanical piping systems
• Monitor welding and fitting processes for compliance with industry best practices
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and the overall work site
• Ensure job quality and schedule compliance
• Perform SMAW welding and field fabrication; TIG, GMAW, and FCAW skills are a plus
• Rigging and signaling skills are a plus
• Conduct industrial maintenance and repair
• Operate aerial man lifts and powered fork truck lifts
• Perform emergency repairs
• Utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Commute to various job sites

Requirements

• Knowledge of mathematics and mechanics
• Ability to plan pipe routes
• Fabricate pipe hangers
• Cut, weld, and fabricate piping per project design
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) for accurate measurements
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools
• Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and parts
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials
• Planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain OSHA 30 Certification
• Safety focused

Additional Information

• Schedule includes 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
• Day shift, night shift, and weekend availability
• Overtime may be required
