Overview

The Welder and Fabricator position at Aerotek involves working with MIG and Stick welding processes in a production environment. The role offers competitive pay and benefits, along with opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of welding experience with MIG and Stick processes in a production or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints or a solid general understanding of print reading for layout and fabrication.
• Proficiency in fabrication work, including tight-tolerance measurements and accurate layout of angles and dimensions.
• Skilled use of measuring tools such as dial calipers and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Hands-on experience with cutting, fabricating, bending, and fitting steel components.

Additional Information

• 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, overtime available on a voluntary basis.
• This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
