Overview

Anderson Dahlen, part of Gray’s Specialty Equipment segment, provides expert services in designing, manufacturing, integrating, installing, and maintaining advanced systems. The Maintenance Technician role focuses on ensuring the reliability of facilities, buildings, and equipment to support uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, installs, and maintains machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Dismantles machines and equipment to install new or repaired parts.
• May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• May fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other structures.
• Utilizes and updates records within the company’s maintenance control software.
• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Performs repairs and maintenance to physical structures, buildings, and property.
• Maintains building facilities by making routine repairs including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Supports annual/quarterly tests and inspections of life safety, building, and equipment.
• Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.
• Liaises with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager and Engineering.
• Functions as a technical resource for all departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or machine tool operation.
• 2 years of vocational or associate degree in machine tool or related technical discipline preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and usage of basic hand/power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to perform light-duty machining and welding.
• Experience in diagnosing pneumatic and hydraulic systems problems.
• 3-phase high voltage and DC electrical knowledge required.
• Experience with metal fabrication equipment helpful.
• Basic PC skills.
