Overview

Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Welder/Fabricator/Hydraulic Technician to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to grow skills in welding, fabrication, and hydraulics while working on heavy construction and forestry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of welding and fabricating including air arc, wire feed, stick, acetylene, brazing, and fabrication skills.
• Fabricate and install hydraulic lines and attachments.
• Test components and ensure quality of work.
• Work in a shop equipped with necessary support and safety equipment.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in all phases of welding and fabrication.
• Candidates with a mechanical aptitude/experience and a 2-year Diesel Technology or Welding degree are also accepted.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Must have own tools.
