Welding Shop in Austin, TX

Overview

We are looking to hire quality marine construction employees for boat docks and marine repair in Volente, TX, just outside Austin. No experience is required, but we supply all tools and machinery to teach you how to do the job, starting at $21 an hour and increasing based on experience and motivation to learn.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair boat docks.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing boat docks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Engage in metal and welding fabrication.
• Drive a boat and work truck.
• Pull a trailer.
• Maintain good physical hygiene and dress appropriately at work.
• Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency with welding and fabrication techniques.
• Basic and advanced knowledge to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects by hand.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or lead a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to speak English.
