Overview

Welder needed for all types of fabrication on steel products such as frames, grates, and galvanized handrail. The position requires proficiency in various welding techniques and tools, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel products including frames, grates, and handrails.
• Use saws, torch, iron worker, and shears for fabrication.
• Understand and follow drawings, sketches, or plans.
• Fit, cut, fabricate, and weld according to specifications.
• Possibly perform field installation of handrail, grates, and light structural components.

Requirements

• Experience in steel fabrication and welding.
• Proficient with .035 hardwire, .045 dual shield wire, and stick electrodes.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Motivated to complete projects on time.
• Positive outlook under timeline pressure.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
