ReIGNITE Hope

Overview

ReIGNITE Hope is a faith-based non-profit vocational training school established in 2011, dedicated to transforming lives by equipping men and women on the margins of society with valuable skills, particularly in welding. They are seeking a Class A Commercial Truck Driver who will also coach and mentor students in welding, ensuring the safe transport of mobile training centers.

Responsibilities

• Driving and caring for equipment.
• Maintaining the trailer classrooms and ensuring they are supplied.
• Safely transporting mobile training centers to and from class locations.
• Performing required pre-trip inspections and following all traffic laws.
• Securing cargo and keeping trucks and trailers clean and presentable.
• Scheduling and performing routine maintenance and communicating equipment needs to supervisor.
• Maintaining a clean driving record.

Requirements

• Valid California Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving semi-tractor trailers.
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the last 7 years.
• Certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and professionalism at all times.
• Commitment to upholding the Christian ethics of the ReIGNITE Hope mission.

Additional Information

• Classes are primarily in Los Angeles County, with occasional sessions in Orange County and Sacramento.
