Overview

A well-established custom metal fabrication company in Gardena is hiring a Driver / Fabricator to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for long-term growth in the union construction trade while contributing immediately as a skilled driver and shop team member.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts with daily safety inspections.
• Load/unload sheet metal, coils, and fabricated materials.
• Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting and shop support.
• Pull and verify orders for delivery accuracy.
• Deliver materials to job sites using stakebed trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and shop area.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• 2+ years forklift experience as an experienced operator.
• Experience driving 24’ stakebed trucks or similar.
• Clean driving record and valid CA Class C license (21+ required).
• Ability and willingness to learn fabrication skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Able to perform physical work in a shop environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• English required; Spanish a plus.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
