We are seeking a reliable Welder for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in a fabrication shop environment. This role offers steady hours with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment after 600 hours based on performance.

Pay & Schedule

$25–$30/hour based on experience and weld test Monday–Friday, 7: 30 AM –4: 00 PM 40 hours per week

Scope of Work

Perform MIG and fluxcore welding on plate materials Execute horizontal and vertical welds with proper penetration and depth Set up welding machine, complete layout, and perform weld test Assist with shop operations including shear press and plasma cutting Support fabrication tasks as needed to complete production goals

Requirements

Proven welding experience Ability to pass a hands-on weld test (setup, layout, weld execution) Strong understanding of weld penetration and plate work Ability to pass tape measure test (fractions and decimals) Willingness to assist in multiple areas of the shop Reliable attendance and work ethic
